Founded in March 2022, Modern Foodie is the idea child of Danielle Wallace. Born into a “foodie” family, Danni’s mother and Nan were both chefs. Originally from England, Danni and her family ran pubs which is where her love of food first came about.
In 2014, Danni decided it was time to travel. She packed up and headed downunder; to the land of
Australia. Winding up in little old Narromine, NSW, Danni fell in love, and this is where she has called home ever since!
HOW IT ALL STARTED
In March of 2022, Danni was approached by a few people who knew of her culinary skills and asked her to cater a job for them. The rest is history; from here, the orders began to roll in; to the point that Danni secured commercial cooking premises in the upstairs kitchen of the Narromine USMC.

Danni loves creating; she experiences a rush of ideas when she first secures a job and is constantly wanting to evolve her skillset. She is hungry for more; has a love of different cuisines and takes inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest, master chef and cookbooks.
Danni strives to excel in the kitchen; her mission is to provide high quality food to every client.
Modern Foodie understand the importance of food in making or breaking an event. Modern Foodie want their food to be a delightful culinary experience.

Modern Foodie aims to delight your tastebuds by offering a catering experience to Narromine, NSW and beyond.
We aim to please by using high quality ingredients and sourcing items locally where we can.
We want to offer menu items to Narromine and surrounds that excite and delight. We provide a culinary experience; brought to you by a dedicated team of “foodies”.
Passionate about good food, we’ll elevate your next event or function with good quality produce.
We pride ourselves on delivering good quality food that pleases the senses. Our food looks good and tastes better. We strive for perfection and put a whole lot of love into each catering creation.
With our recent expansion, we are now offering a platter and share box menu. However, each catering item is unique; assembled based on seasonality and availability.
As we grow, we will continue offering a bespoke product whereby “swapping out” and changing items is possible.
